Tiger Conch also know as Strawberry Conch are a reef safe and comical addition to your tank. Conch live much of their life partially buried in the sand crusing around making little trenches in you substrate. They use their trunk like siphon to search for uneaten fish food, detritus and algae in the sand rocks and even sometimes on the glass of your tank. Only word of caution being to watch them if your like to put corals in your sand bed. Conches may inadvertently harm fleshy corals such as fungia, trachy and other meaty corals with the spike that is on their foot. Their spike can accidentally catch and rip delicate corals during the conches endless travels around the tank.
