Lighting:
- Trachyphyllia corals are best suited for low to moderate lighting, with a PAR range of 50-150.
- They can be placed in lower or more sheltered areas of the tank, where they naturally inhabit shaded or semi-shaded regions in the wild.
- Avoid overly intense light, as it can cause bleaching or tissue stress. 
Water Flow:
- Moderate water flow is essential to remove waste, deliver nutrients, and prevent debris accumulation. 
- Direct flow can damage the coral's tissue or prevent it from capturing food. 

Placement:

- Trachyphyllia corals must be placed on the sand, as they are aggressive corals with long sweeper tentacles.

- Ample space should be left around them to avoid aggression with other corals.
