Aragonite C™ is one of our three Aragonite products. Its main function is to help regulate the magnesium levels in your tank. Maintaining a healthy magnesium level in your tanks is key to your coral's health. If the level is too low, you’ll experience bleaching of coralline algae, bleaching of small polyp stony corals and tissue loss on large polyp stony corals. However, if you allow levels to get too high, the tips of your corals will burn. While it can be a delicate balance to maintain, Aragonite C optimizes magnesium for reef tanks and helps keep a harmonious space for your marine life.

Quantum Aragonite C is designed to provide ionic and complexed magnesium, as well as other key aragonite constituents, such as sulfate and trace elements. When magnesium is low, alkalinity fluctuations can occur more frequently, which may cause stress to your aquarium. Trust Aragonite C as your source of magnesium for reef tanks—and the whole series of Quantum Aragonite products as a well-rounded system to elevate and nurture your marine life.

Aragonite C should be used alongside Quantum® Aragonite A™ and Quantum® Aragonite B™ products. Together, they will provide all the required major, minor and trace aragonite elements for your tank. Directions:

Shaking is not required. However, if the product has been left standing for a length of time, invert the bottle 3-4 times before using. Add Aragonite C to high water flow when monitoring magnesium for reef tanks. This product must be used in reef aquariums and can be used on a dosing pump.

Dosing:

When it comes to dosing Aragonite C, we suggest you follow our dosage guidelines, based on the stock levels of your tank listed below:

Lightly stocked = 0.50mL/100L/26G per day

Moderately stocked = 0.75mL/100L/26G per day

Heavily stocked = 1.00mL/100L/26G per day Or as required to maintain magnesium between 1230 - 1310 ppm*

*Please Note: 1mL/100L/26G will raise magnesium by 1ppm, other elements will increase relatively.
